The Division of Pharmacology & Toxicology at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) is inviting applications for a temporary position of Project Associate under the ad-hoc project titled “Socio-economic upliftment of poor farmers through Animal Husbandry using scientific interventions in Jammu province.” This project is funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
Position Details:

- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
- Emoluments Per Month: Rs. 31,000.00 + HRA at 9%
Essential Qualifications:
- M.V.Sc. (Veterinary & Animal Science).
- Successful qualification in NET/GATE is compulsory for all candidates, including those with a professional degree/PhD.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Research and field experience in Veterinary and Animal Science.
- Experience of blood sample collection from cattle, buffalo, goat, sheep, and their analysis in the lab, with evidence of publications/thesis.
Terms and Conditions:
- The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Candidates who do not have NET/GATE will have different emoluments as per DBT norms.
- The appointment does not confer any right of regularization or absorption against any regular or contractual position.
- The University/funding agency/PI reserves the right to withdraw the advertised posts or terminate the employment due to non-performance.

- No objection and experience certificate from the current employer is required if the applicant is employed.
